Our Mission

Multicultural Students In Natural Sciences is a student-run organization designed to promote academic success to underrepresented students in the College of Natural Sciences. Our goal is to educate and support the undergraduate community through mentorship programs and community involvement.  We presents numerous opportunities, including various programs and activities, intended not only for academic growth but professional development for its members.We strive to promote the importance of academics and leadership and focus on giving back to the community so that we may pave the way future students in the College of Natural Sciences.

History of MINS

   Multicultural Students in Natural Sciences was founded December 2007 after a group of under-represented students saw the need to create an organization that would provide mentorship, promote academic success and develop professional career awareness to other under-represented students.
